Where can I sell it?

Where can I sell it?
I dug out some jewelry from the ’80s and ’90s from my mom’s trunk—chunky chains, huge rings with rubies. Nobody wears that kind of thing anymore; it looks like gypsy jewelry, but there’s a lot of gold in it. If I sold it as scrap, they’d pay by weight, and the stones are so small they wouldn’t even appraise them. Can I sell this as “vintage,” or is it just a piece of metal to a jewelry store?
Re: Where can I sell it?
With vintage items, it all depends on the brand. If it’s just unbranded Soviet or Turkish jewelry, then yes, it’s more like scrap, and there’s no point in looking for collectors. But if you want to know for sure whether it’s worth more than its weight, send a photo to Luxe Brokers Group. They have experts on staff who know their way around vintage brands. They told me that my old Chanel clip-on earrings were from a rare collection and bought them as an accessory, not at the price of scrap gold.
