One of the things I've been thinking about lately is basically that Material You really only fits into existing ecosystem because most of the apps updated are just basic tools. For the most part, they're pretty much all just apps that don't really need a distinctive brand identity, things like clocks or a gallery or phone app.
Even if they do have something distinctive like Gmail, it doesn't really matter because you're already familiar with them.
Is anybody really thought about how this new design language is going to integrate into apps that want to retain their branding?
What would a Facebook app look like? Would it retain the same Facebook blue but with accents based on your wallpaper everywhere?
What would he Yelp! app look like? Everything in it is normally red?VidMate Mobdro
Are there even third party applications that have added support for material you yet? Wherever wherever it is in your life
